Housed in a historical structure, and within one of San Antonio's oldest historic districts, Fire Station No. 5 shines as an example civic involvement in the future of the entire neighborhood. Though the modern program requirements might typically prove fatal for a building of this age, M^cCall & Associates was able to achieve a successful remodel of the entire building and site to better serve the needs of its important occupants and their surrounding neighborhood.
